I went on to say that much of Christ's message is twisted, for example, the placement of the Ten Commandments at court houses, by Christians when the Ten Commandments are Old Testament. Wouldn't the better message when one enters a court house be "Forgive Infinitely"? She agreed with me and said these were perspectives she had never considered, and that I ought to go into politics.
I didn't tell her that I think religious messages are all inappropriate in public buildings.
