If the general situation is trying to find a file that may have some random computer-generated name and is being held in some obscure temp folder somewhere, one thing to try is to stop all activity on your computer for a few minutes, then using whatever method you can, get the desired file to open/play.

Then, do a Search, with the criteria being Last Accessed and look at the list of files that were just accessed during the time frame that you had the file playing/whatever.

Then, go to the location/folder where that file is being held, and try to change the name to something you recognize, including changing the file extension to something generic like ".txt" and then copy it to where ever you want it to go. Then go to the new location and change the file extension back to whatever the original was (eg, ".wmv" or whatever).

This is one way around software that won't let you move certain files from certain folders.
