There doesn't seem to be any evidence one way or the other that the bug was politically motivated. It does seem that there is some criminal acticvity going on in Philly (though not necessarily at Street's level).

By "political wishful thinking", I mean that everyone assumes "the other team is crooked" and therefore, when a Democrat is bugged it MUST be political. You should read the posts here from the time the bug was found, but before the feds hinted it was them doing it.

In short, a lack of evidence does not permit the assumption of the most politically damaging "truth". Remember that we have some crooks on our side too. This amy be one of them. I don't intend to "go down with the ship" defending him if he is guilty of something.
