Maine generates MORE electricty from renewables than natural gas.

But you didn't know that did you...

Maine exports 40% of the electricity it produces.

If Maine stopped exporting electricity, it could satisfy 60% of its in-state power requirements with *renewables* today.

Maine's goal is to install 2000 MW of onshore wind power by 2020.

and hundreds more offshore in this time frame.

One company has proposed to install 800 MW of PV capacity in Maine....a place where ignorant New Jersey sociopaths claim "it doesn't work!" all evidence to the contrary.
