As in, we will be burning coal for decades.
Remember http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=115&topic_id=241568&mesg_id=241638">that European study even for the 100% renewable scenario assumes that current plants will be phased out as they reach their normal lifetime.   (We're still building coal plants.) |
