Dahlan: Arafat is a dog and liar [View All]

Beginnings of a Palestinian civil war, perhaps? I searched for something english but couldn't find anything.

The story is short and essentially says Mohammaed Dahlan told Israeli and American officials over the weekend that Arafat is working to "torpedo" Abbas etc. He specifically says he is a "dog and a liar", although that might be a translation difference.

It also says the PA arrested 19 smugglers and closed two tunnels which were being used to bring in weapons from Egypt to Rafah on Saturday. It mentions that this was done "in front of TV cameras", however (making the obvious inference).

The main story before this section is that Arafat has said he is "the only one" who can rein in the militants and he should be "given a chance".
