STARR: Brigadier General Montague Winfield was in command of the military's worldwide nerve center that morning, the center's logbook a record of the opening moments of the war: 8:48, first plane hits the World Trade Center; 9:02, second explosion at the World Trade Center; at 9:38, American Airlines Flight 77 slams into the Pentagon.

We are expected to believe that NORAD was "unprepared" and had not ALREADY had plenty of time to scramble ....

So that a big fat commerical jet, the mythical Flight 77, somehow flew in from Ohio, evaded NORAD's continental grid (not to mention the grid over DC), FORTY MINUTES AFTER the 2nd "attack" (South Tower "hit"), and slammed into the Pentagon at 9:38 ???
!!!!!!!!!
Please ... insult our intelligence some more...

According to the official "timeline":
At 8:20 Flight 11's transponder signal ceased
At 8:42 Flight 175 switched off its transponder

Indeed, by their own official timeline, the FAA and NORAD knew we had at least two alleged "hijackings", well before the alleged "first hit" on the North Tower !!!

What a transparent load of BS !!!

But that's ok ... chalk it all up to a "failure of the imagination" - as Kean and Hamilton told us after their "9/11 Commission" dog-and-pony show.
It was just "incompetence".
(So, that very same week, they applauded the performance of Rumsfeld, confirmed Gen. Myers as head of the JSC, and promoted NORAD Generals Eberhart and Arnold ... as a reward for their play-acting.)
"We never expected it. We were unprepared."
That's why we need MORE surveillance, MORE "Patriot Act" dismantling of the Constitution.

Just move on folks ... nothing to see here...

Which is WHY THEY DIDN'T NEED REAL "PLANES"....
It was easier to just fake the whole "hijacker" scenario, blow up the Towers (and WTC7, at 5:30 that evening), pop a missile into the Pentagon at 9:38 ....
and use their control of the "newsrooms" at CNN, FOX and MSNBC to broadcast manufactured propaganda so we could all "see" what happened.

Because they were confident and arrogant enough to know that a dumbed-down clueless American population would swallow this kind of implausible drivel.
