1. This is an example of a real news piece on the war that we so
rarely see with mainstream media and a commentary that we never hear but for the internet. Take away what you will from the Iraqi people but do not deceive yourself into believing that their hostile reactions to an external occupying force would be any different than you would see back here in the good old USA.

The nature of our effort has so obviously changed that even the most die-hard supporter of this misadventure would have to admit we are no longer liberators we are but oppressors.

As the article states:
Remember the Arab proverb; "Me against my brother. Me and my brother against my cousin. Me, my brother and cousin against the stranger."

We need to admit this was a colossal mistake and find a way to exit. The alternative is the wholesale destruction of an Arab society and the loss of America's moral imperative on the world stage.
