38. Hopefully David Brancaccio will carry the mantle
Brancaccio has been Moyers' co-anchor the last couple of years, and he seems very capable.

In particular, he's adopted the highly professional Moyersesque interview style where he ACTUALLY ALLOWS guests to answer questions fully and completely in their own words (unlike Charlie Rose, Baba Wawa, or any of the daytime pseudojournalists like Katie Couric, who constantly interrupt their guests and make certain they're doing far more talking than the guest actually is aRRRRGGH )

As far as new co-anchors for NOW, I think Ray Suarez (currently on NPR and Lehrer News Hour) or Scott Simon could be effective additions.
