7. What media?
The media kept REPEATING the swift boat liars LIES even after they KNEW the story was a pack of lies. The media as a check and balance on our elected officials died when Cronkite retired and Helen Thomas was relieved of her post. It died when it took GREAT DELIGHT in the national disgrace, the events that propelled the impeachment of Clinton for a matter unrelated to HIGH CRIMES AND MISDEMEANORS. The media chuckled and guffawed when Gore was branded as an exaggerator. Crossfire "bings" and "bongs" every other sound bite. The media can't help us redefine politics... they are nothing but America's new airheads. If it isn't tantilizing gossip... they lose interest.

The media is a greater part of the problem we have as Americans than * and his criminal regime. Where's their outrage at *'s lies and corruption??? Tucked away safely somewhere between wardrobe changes and their bank accounts.
