That's a very selfish comment mon ami. Some of those people on welfare, I agree they could be taken off welfare and put into a job. However, there's many people on welfare who literally have no other option but to be on welfare.

I'm actually Upper Class, but I believe that it's our moral duty to take care of those who are less fortunate than we are. I don't resent anyone giving handouts to the poor.

You need to talk to her about her above comment, ask her if that's what she really believes. I mean you can just bring up various political issues with her...healthcare, education, tax cuts, the National Debt which is $8.1 trillion dollars, stuff like this.
