This is a farm town of about 2000. Very conservative and they vote republican, although there's a strong Libertarian factor.

After the 2004 election, she had to suffer the "I told you so" comments.

By Summer 2005, she would make a comment and one or two might challenge her.

By Christmas 2005, she would make a comment and be met with silence.

Now, she gets quiet little nods of agreement, although not many are being vocal about it.

I haven't checked in with her since the whole Port deal went down... perhaps I'll give her a call today. :evilgrin:
