I had wondered who the hell she thought would buy her book when she first started hitting the airwaves trying to push it. I guess she thought that by bad-mouthing Democrats she would have an automatic market from the right-wing zealots who support her father. Did she not understand that they only put up with her because of who her father is? I suppose not.

I'm sure that she didn't expect GLBT community to lay down their hard earned cash. Why would they read anything from an apologist for those who blame homosexuality for everything from hurricanes to war to pedophilia. I'm serious, what was this bitch thinking?

The problem with Mary Cheney is that she has been raised with such privilege and sense of entitlement that she has no grasp of the reality of the GBLT community. Why should she care about all of the hateful rhetoric her party spouts? Why should she give a damn about the unconstitutional laws they are pushing? Her dad is Dick Fuck Off Cheney! It doesn't matter that the democratic party actually CARES about the rights of homosexuals because she doesn't!

Thank you for posting such a well written statement! I need to show it to my lesbian teen-age daughter. She hasn't been raised with a spoon in her mouth like Mary Cheney, so she actually has had to endure the prejudices that Vice President Evil's daughter has been shielded from.
