Well first we had a Republican governor elected, Bob Ehrlich, his motto is "So honest it hurts."
So he believes in the flat tax for everything. The Chesapeake Bay is polluted, don't go after
corporate polluters, make all the average folks pay a "flush tax" which means that my sewer
bill went from $19.00 to $48.00. The same way with the auto tags, $75 to $125 to fix up the
roads. So now we have our public utilities deregulated and our utility company wants a 76%
increase, now voters are threatening to vote out of office anyone who supports this. They
are talking of a modified hike and it is now on Ehrlich's desk to consider.
If you are a politician, voters are just like sharks in the water.
They're circling and you just never know when they'll attack.

:-)
