al gore for veep?

it occurred to me the other day that what al would really like is to be veep again. this could give him enough power to tackle the issues that he cares about. hell, following in the footsteps of dick cheney, it's as good as being pres, maybe better. he would have a lot more freedom to tackle what he wants to tackle, without being bogged down by the rest.
lets hope that if he doesn't jump into the race, whoever does get the nod has the sense to put him on the ticket.
