As long as the seat can be retained. Sen Obama fits this perfectly; Dem state with a Dem governor.

I had thought all states, when replacing a Congress-critter, would just have the governor anoint someone.

Turns out, at least in Wyoming , the incumbent party picks a slate and the governor chooses best in show (I'm personally looking forward to the evening gown portion of the festivities and refuse to imagine the swimsuit part)

I must say, as dream cabinets go, I was really hoping for Attorney General Hillary Clinton in a Clark/? administration. Just imagine all those smug little Nazis just shitting themselves.


And I'm sorry, but Steve Jobs is a sales man. I don't need more shit sold to me, I want the product I paid big money for back in mid April.
