Sunday NYT OP-ED

This is a great OP-ED day for the Times. Frank Rich on the rethugs sexcapades, king george and his threat to veto children's health money, another slam at george on the power grab, fema and formaldehyde, and letters from people boosting solar energy. That was not what caught my eye,it was an article about our head of the International Border Commission, by Stacy Schiff. Evidently this guy is charged with maintaining a ten foot wide 5,525 mile long clearing on our border with Canada. Sounds like a good plan, right? All this with a 1.4 million budget. Long story short, he gets fired for trying to enforce this border clearing, after intervention by "The Pacific Legal Foundation" read Exxon and an Phillip Morris. The guy is a republican and campaigned for george. Another one under the bus. Anyway, if you can, I recommend reading this for a laugh or to get sicker then we already are with this crap. I wish I could put up a link, but I am an old technophobe and can't do links but it's the 22 July times, read it.
