Washington (AP) - CSPAN, the cable channel that offers 24 hour congressional coverage, announced a deal with reality series king Albert K. Holic yesterday to produce his proposed new series "The Odd Couple," about two political opposites who must run a different business each week. Presidential candidates Ron Paul and Mike Gravel have signed onto the show which will air after the Democratic primaries.

"The first week, Mike and Ron are plopped down in the middle of a busy New York deli during the breakfast rush," says Benjamin Dover, CSPAN Vice President of Marketing. "I've heard Mike has no idea what a bagel is so it should be fun."

Candidate Paul is looking forward to this episode. "I love cream cheese. I can eat straight out of the tub."

The series will air Tuesday nights opposite FOX TV's 24.
