6. I have to agree with both of you.
We should be moving to alternatives like the compressed air car. But, boycotting Exxon - singling them out - would be a great move.

The other companies would gain market share while also understanding the power of the consumer. We would not be left short, that's for sure.

If consumers could band together to make a statement this strong, if we could financially cripple the company that earned the largest profit in the history of the world, we would change the corporate culture of greed and make consumers interest a priority.

Right now, we are nothing. Exxon sold us a story about having a shortage while they raked in the world's highest profits and we barely protest. The people's representatives don't care and the media sees no reason to be concerned. Hey, we still fill up.

Of course, we have to fill up. They know that and they think they have us. A boycott of Exxon would be an incredible move by consumers. Again, it would change the entire landscape.
