Imagine if Edwards is one of the quarterbacks fighting for top spot on a football team, and he ends up losing the starting position to the other guy. Lets say the coach then asks Edwards if he's still going to fight as hard for the team, even though he has to play second string. If Edwards doesn't reply positively to take it on the chin for the team, he'd be shown the door to the parking lot so friggin fast that he wouldn't have time to clean out his locker.

For his own good and the good of our party, he should wake up when it comes to being loyal.
