She asked the question as a perfect GOP talking point; "How are you going to protect us against terrorism?" I would have responded with, "Well, just like we used to before Bush took the White House: I'll read and take seriously the PDBs, I'll listen to my security analysts and advisers, I'll study intel reports, I'll network with foreign intel services, and if attacked I won't sit on my ass and gaze off into space while 3,000 of my fellow citizens are murdered, and I'd go after the real country that sent the terrorists..."

I would be very difficult for me to not say to the questioner, "What a stupid question..."

Come to think of it, this questioner looks and sounds an awful lot like the lady who asked McCain, "How do we beat the bitch?"
