Biden - Profiles appreciated [View All]

Saw this today in my own Sacramento Bee Letters to the Editor!

Re "Biden deserves more attention," letter, Nov. 20: G.P. Messier's letter has it right about Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del., and the media creating the leading presidential candidates poll numbers.

The front-runners spend a lot of dollars in their campaigns. Then the media buttresses that effort with nonstop emphasis on the top three candidates. Little wonder why their poll numbers are high. That is what most people see and hear.

A round-table discussion among five journalists after the Las Vegas debate centered on the top three. One journalist brought up Joe Biden's remarkable performance in all the debates, but to only fall on deaf ears.

I want to compliment The Bee for its occasional articles on each of the presidential candidates. It's a better chance to get to know about them.
