He can't make any mistakes, or the corporate media will tear him up and make the self-fulfilling prophecy, "Clinton the Comeback Kid" in New Hampshire or on February 5th. It's good for an inexperienced candidate who has not run in a national ticket or been a national figure for long, from a political standpoint, to not go off script with the corporate masters pulling the strings.
