Edwards supporters aren't going to like that, but it's absolutely true.

Second in Iowa meant he was able to compete, and still not be written off. Distant third in New Hampshire means it's going to be NEAR impossible to gain back the necessary momentum to take the nomination, and be the nominee. I'm sorry, I wish I were wrong. I've support John for a year now, and will until he drops out. But he's not going to be our nominee.

Edwards is way behind in South Carolina. He won that state in 2004 with what...45% of the vote? Well it's not a tight race this time. Obama and Clinton dominate the polls, with Obama in the lead. With the media orgasming over them, it's going to be hard to make the necessary splash.

Edwards simply can't compete with Clinton's popularity in Nevada and the high level endorsements Obama has. Nevada looks like another third place finish for Edwards.

And what about Super Tuesday? I was reading an article on here about how many of the bigger states in Super Tuesday like California and New York vote based off of whose getting the media attention, and not the kind of retail politicking that Edwards does so well. And did in Iowa and New Hampshire. He's got chance in states like Missouri, but I simply think he'll be competing with Obama to be the anti-Hillary and won't come out with a victory.

:( I hate to come to this conclusion, but I have.

I'll support Senator Edwards till he drops out. I'm not just supporting him because I think he's the winner, I'm supporting him because I believe in what he stands for and fights for.

As for who I'll support if he drops out? Leaning towards Obama, though not writing Hillary off. And actually considered making Hillary my 2nd choice right before Iowa.

ON EDIT: I'm making Obama my second choice, but I'm voting for Edwards during my primary.
