They roughly split the health care issue, Obama leads on the war, and takes foreign policy 44-19%. All three issues Clinton is trying to run strong on.

Clinton and Obama supporters also differ sharply over what issue concerns them the most.

“The Obama supporters are the voters whose greatest concern is the war and foreign policy,” DiCamillo said. “Clinton supporters are more likely to be concerned about the economy and health care.”

Voters who think the war in Iraq is the most important issue prefer Obama, 47 percent to 38 percent. Voters who believe that foreign policy in general is the most important favor Obama, 44 percent to 19 percent.

When it comes to jobs and the economy, those voters support Clinton, 61 percent to 29 percent. Voters who believe health care is the most important issue were more evenly split – 48 percent for Clinton and 42 percent for Obama.
