It's playing in Florida because Florida is in the national media market. But about the deal not to campaign in Florida. It was made for the first four states, the early states. The last one was South Carolina and the chairman of the SC party didn't have a problem with the ad running before the primary there. The DNC took no position. So if Edwards wants to run national ads that leak into Florida, he can. What I'm not clear on is if the deal itself, banning in-state campaigning in Florida, is still on after the fourth state SC has its primary.
