4. I'm there already
We must completely reject this behavior.
These two are seriously jeopardizing the "slam-dunk" of having a non-Republican administration in '08.
This isn't about a woman or an African-American. It's about two people with little agenda other than their own self-interests.
Someday, this country will elect someone from a demographic that is now considered to be a minority. On that day, no one will notice that the elected one is a woman, a hispanic, or an African-American.
That's when we can say we've truly arrived.
Unfortunately for the country and the Democratic party, it is now apparent that neither Clinton nor Obama represent a new direction in politics or the hackneyed "change" that both purport to bring.
Even more unfortunately is the fact that without a serious consideration of Dennis Kucinich, we are left with a good choice in Edwards, but yet it will be another rich white guy.
