The issue isn't issues, it's framing -- the rhetoric that influences voters' perceptions. It's the life's blood of "ideas" like the Reagan Revolution, and Obama's giving us blood thinner.

Seven years of disastrous GOP hegemony are wiped out in an instant by his accommodationist rhetoric that describes the problems in DC as a mere "divisive food fight" where bickering Baby Boomers naggingly carp about partisan trivialities of the '60s and '90s.

Hillary's pretty bad with this stuff, and Obama's worse.
