is more about trying to out-offend each other. Nobody will be swayed to vote FOR a candidate with the kind of vitriol people have for one another in here. Some might be swayed AGAINST a candidate with some of the posts that have been made though.

I've certainly been swayed away from voting for Obama because of the overbearing pushy way his supporters present the facts and/or information about him. I'm certainly not interested in spending any more time than I have to arguing with Obama supporters. My ignore list has grown quite large this primary season, unfortunately.

Personally, what I would like to see is a calm, thoughtful, respectful comparison of issues candidate by candidate with several referee/mods in place to keep it to the facts only and no squabbling or campaign slogans or accusations or insults being hurled around in the thread or threads. Just the facts...not likely to happen though.
