48. You did it because your lives were on the line and because your
PARENTS supported you and you learned things like citizenship in school. You boomers also grew up on the heels of the 60's Civil Rights movement, where nonviolent protest worked to bring change, and so you saw that it could happen.

Well the TV doesn't cover that kind of news anymore and kids don't learn civics anymore, and nobody's being drafted, and folks who go to college are in hock up to their eyeballs.

When the UCLA kid got tasered by security guards just before Christmas break 2 years ago, wanna know why the campus wasn't just shut down by protesting students?

Their parents wouldn't let them. Too much money at stake.
