No one other than you and Tellurian ware questioning him on that contribution - which does not look the least suspicious. If you want suspicious campaign finance donations - HRC is your candidate, look at hers. Look at 1996. (Not to mention that Kerry getting a contribution he likely personally never heard about for $2000 - is peanuts as he hosted a $3.8 million fund raiser for Bush in 2003.)

As to Iowa, Kerry's campaign won - and did it with the media mostly arguing over when he would drop out.
