5. As a DK supporter I would expect that
But I am looking at this from the what's good for Dennis aspect of this.

He's already getting no national media coverage so spending this money and racking up campaign debt is starting to become a useless exercise...

He's not even getting many votes in the places he is campaigning. You can try to generalize it as the South but look at the other results. There are very few places Kucinich resonated including his own home district.

He needs to work to secure a speaking plank at the Convention which there is no guarantee he has even close to (or will get enough to)do.
If he wants to secure a plank he needs to meet with Kerry and get it done and the longer he campaigns against him and gets less and less votes the less it will seem as if Dennis will have a voice worth putting out there especially to the majority of the party in which Dennis is far left of. The longer DK goes and the worse he does the more irrelevant he looks.

I want the guy to speak, I happen to like him and I think having a true progressive voice at the convention (I do not consider Dean a true progressive) is a good thing. But the longer he drags this out and the worse he does the harder a case it is for him to make about him deserving a speaking slot.

I would say that delegates-wise he is on equal footing with Al Sharpton and it will be very hard to give Sharpton a place to speak without looking like you are just giving him one to pander to minorities... for DK he doesn't have the race card in his favor.

Dennis should get out now and work hard on beating Bush in other ways before his campaign debt becomes so large that he can't pay it off and before his relevancy vanishes completely in the party.
