--In a recent CNN-USA Today-Gallup poll, released by the AP, a dozen or so candidates names were mentioned, in asking likely voters who they wanted to see onthe ticket with John Kerry. John Edwards garnered 30% of the choices, with none of the other candidates mentioned breaking single digits.

Furthermore, I find it laughable how some people on DU have been consumed with continually posting negatively charged posts Re: Edwards for VP. I even had one DU'er send me a link to the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, paste the committee's duties from the Senate.gov website, AND somehow sent me an outdated link which showed a list of Committee members, without John Edwards. The problem is, John Edwards IS on the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.

For any doubters who want to post inaccuracies, here are links to the Senate committees of which John Edwards is a member (btw: This may be why the Senate sent JRE to meet with President Musharaf during the Senator's trip to Afghanistan):
