10. WSJ poll showed Edwards helps in Midwest
If the real battleground is Ohio and the midwest, it turns out that Edwards (not Gephardt as you might think) is the strongest partner for Kerry.
The question is not whether Edwards is the best choice. That's obvious. The question is whether Kerry wants to win enough or whether he thinks it is important to slap the last guy who stood against him. Kerry has had to endure a lot of "Edwards has what Kerry is missing." Now the question is: Is Kerry missing the kind of character that allows him to do what everyone knows is best for the party?
