That's right. Reagan didn't invent AIDS, he just helped
prevent the CDC and others from working on it as quickly
as was necessary because it was only GRID (Gay-Related
Immune Deficiency) and who cared about the gays and
Haitians, right?

It's a shame Wright went that one step probably too far,
because there's plenty for the American government to
be ashamed of with regard to AIDS without the claim
that they invented it.

(Still, wouldn't it be funny if, fifty years from now,
that was disclosed to have been the truth?)
