I'm an Obama supporter, but my 2nd favorite candidate in this race is Ron Paul. What I like about both of them is that I feel that I can trust them to make presidential decisions. Both are men of great integrity, and both err on the side of common sense when it comes to foreign policy. While Obama represents change, Ron Paul represents too much change, akin to a revolution. I don't think he did a great job connecting his policy goals with a path to how he'll get there. For example, if you hear him talk about the gold standard, it sounds like a great idea, but I don't see how he will get the Congressional support needed to follow through with many of his plans.
