22. I don't have grandchildren yet, but
I will vote for the Democratic nominee whoever it is.

McCain has said he'll appoint Supreme Court Judges from the Dark Ages.
Clinton and Obama have said they would not. The next justices appointed
to the Supreme Court will be around to affect the lives of my children,
possibly my grandchildren. That fact alone is enough to ensure I will not
toss my vote off on a protest third party.

Plus, with the likely majorities in both House and Senate, either one in
the White House will pursue a more liberal agenda than McCain would. Some
disagree, but I don't buy their arguments. "Hillary=McCain," for Pete's sake.
I may not be her biggest fan, but that one is pure propaganda, and smacks of
Rove planting seeds of discord.

Give me either one. This time, a vote against the Democratic nominee is a de
facto vote for McCain. Spin it how you want. More importantly, VOTE how you
want. Just don't tell me that a narrow victory for McCain in your state is
the Democrats' fault if you voted against us. It's your fault, too. Your right,
but your fault. If McCain gets in, and his Supreme Court decides it's OK to bust
in anyone's door at 3 AM if their neighbor says they have terrrrist tendencies,
maybe then you'll understand what this is all about. Don't hand me that "no
difference" crap. I heard it all from the Nader crowd in 2000. I guess if there's
anyone out there who still believes there was no difference in 2000 will swallow
it again, but people who believed it in 2000 and still believe it now, still pray
to the tooth fairy.

Grow up, indeed.
