46. Ah no.
Clinton did well among Asians in CA because she had name recognition back on Super Tueday whereas Obama didn't, but a lot has changed. My in-laws entire family (Vietnamese) are in the tank for Obama now - I'd like to claim credit, but I don't speak vietnamese, this is mostly between them. I live in the most Asian neighborhood in San Francisco, a town where Asians are the biggest ethnic group, and Obama is hot shit here. He's not going to have a problem pulling this demo in the GE. They love his stand on immigration, taxation, and particularly education.

I think you're kind of taking the Latino demographic for granted as well. Obama stuck to his guns when he was criticized over the driving license issue and has had straight talk on immigration since the start. McCain can point to his bill last year, but doing so will cost him a GOP vote for every Latino vote he gets (the nativists like to call him 'Juan McShamnesty'). Obama can talk about immigration with Ted Kennedy standing next to him.
