I am certain we could show this young man a great time here. If he does come, this would be the first time in my 50 years that I would love to go see a political candidate in person. It would be an honor to be able to actually hear from a young man who conducts himself in the public political process as well as Obama does. Win, lose or draw, it would be something special - but the sense is that he will win big here.

He had absolutely g'normous crowds of supporters show up when he came to Portland and had Bill Richardson endorse him. It was on a level I haven't ever seen in Oregon (I am a life long Oregonian, transplanted some years back to Central Oregon from Portland - still have a place over there, but can't bring myself to leave all the things mentioned that spring from here - good beer, great rivers, desert life, quiet, peace, and yes, serious issues that we have to work out to make Central Oregon viable during the coming bad times).
