21. Hurt feelings are valid problems.

GD/P is different from the real world only in a quantitative way. Earlier today, there was a thread indicating that the AFL-CIO was deploying campaigners for McCain. It turned out to be untrue, but it didn't really surprise people.

Why are some people so susceptible to an emotional appeal, yet so dismissive of an emotional reaction to their own abuses, ridicule and vitriol?
