She impresses the heck out of me. What a fantastic job she has done as the Governor of Kansas! I want her to be VP, because a) She has done such a great job governing Kansas, and has garnered massive support from Republicans, which would make her a natural fit for Obama's "reach across the aisle" mentality, b) She is very down-to-earth, does not appear to put on airs, and is likable! I don't even care that she is not a dynamic speaker, she is very likable and IS most assurably well spoken, c) She will flat out appeal to many reasonable people, regardless of party. She is a beautiful lady, very even keeled and level-headed, yet very strong and in charge, without needing to even mention that she is, d) She has the big "E"- experience. She was in the House from 1986-1994, was elected State Insurance Commissioner in 1994, the first Democrat to be elected to that post in over 100 years in Kansas, and then Governor in 2002 to the present, and e) She seems to have a special rapport with Obama from the speeches I have watched where she introduces, and/or speaks about him. She seems to be on his wavelength as far as the importance of education and many other issues, pretty much someone who could be counted on to carry forward with his agenda should something unfortunate happen to him, which is what he has said he wants most in a VP. And I didn't even mention that she helped bring the state out of a 1B+ dollar debt without raising taxes. She did it by reducing congressional pork, which is high on Obama's list of priorities in the realm of ethics. So, to conclude, despite many other VERY qualified and wonderful candidates for the VP such as Gen. Clark, Bill Richardson, Joe Biden, Janet Napolitano, Jim Webb, and a host of others, I am now endorsing with hearty enthusiasm, Kathleen Sebelius, Governor of Kansas, to be our next Vice President of the United States!
