I was on the planning committee for the party..we were able to display the original books documenting the clubs begining..

To all of our surprise..there were no women on the original board..not one..all were men..6 men started the club..as women were not allowed to start a political club in this USA...so the men were the surrogates who opened the club for the women..furthermore..the women were not allowed to have the meetings without the men being present.

We have two club members that are in their 90's of age..and they remembered it well.

The men had to run the meetings and had to be present for the women to assemble to have their meetings..

I was proud to be at the 65th Anniversary party of our Democratic Womens Club..and proud to be among women who fought for our rights before me...I respect them enormously.

Those women are my hero's

As Is Hillary..she has taken more bullshit than anyone should have to have dished out to them..and she has taken it with honor!

This woman was the First lady ...of the first Democrat in over 30 years to win two terms in the white house....no one candidate does this alone..

She is the first, first lady to not just win one Senate term but two and the second with a much larger winning percentage.

remember this ladies...

About Ginger Roger about Fred Astaire:

"Sure he was great, but don't forget Ginger Rogers did everything he did backwards . . . and in high heels!"
