This is the National Republican Congressional Committee blog. Eeeew! Hold your nose and click. Then scroll down and look at the comments. Seriously, this is worth 10 minutes of your time at the least (don't forget to kick and rec this post!).

This isn't just some random blog, this is the official GOP party website. I have been reading it for an hour with a mixture of horror and delight. These folk are so angry at their party's failures (and mostly, so terminally stupid) that they are willing to destroy it to send a message. It seems like at least a third of them will vote libertarian, and most of the rest won't vote.

They hate McCain even more than they hate us. I don't mean they're unhappy with him, I mean they HATE him. He is a traitor to them - it's as if we had somehow ended up nominating Lieberman. As far as conservatives are concerned, their party has completely betrayed them. The GOP base is collapsing underneath them, and the right-wing media pundits (eg Michelle Malkin) are encouraging their supporters to destroy it. The business sector has abandoned them as the radioactive failures they are. All they have left is the religious crowd, and they're not exactly happy over the failure to select Huckabee.

This may be the end of the GOP. I have never seen anything like it in ~20 years of grassroots politics. THEY WANT TO LOSE THE ELECTION so they can have a fight over who controls the party. Every DUer needs to read this.
