Democrats: enjoy this day

Today is "primary day" in Kentucky and Oregon. It is going to be an important day for the democratic party, and will be a great time for supporters of both Senator Hillary Clinton and Senator Barack Obama. We will see voters endorsing the two strong democratic candidates.

The media will be focused almost entirely on the energy of our party. In order to try to take away from the powerful force that will change the make-up of the executive and legislative branches of the federal government, the republicans and their lap dogs will attempt to manipulate today's events. This will include attempts to divide democrats. But their attempts will fail, because the American public is aware that the republican party is a corrupt force that has damaged the fabric of our society.

2008 is a historic year. When people at a future date look back on the 2008 elections, they will recognize that the democratic primary played an important role in helping to institute real change in America. And today, we are able to not only witness, but to participate in that process.

I look forward to watching the news, and taking part in the discussions on DU today.
