96. So what is left to do?
There are many like you on the Clinton side that believe Obama has run an unfair campaign. There are many on the Obama side, if not more, than believe Clinton has run an unfair campaign. Neither side has some superior claim to the truth in this regard, to believe so ends any chance of rational discourse. Just as you might see it as disingenuous for Obama to call for unity after running what you perceive to be a divisive campaign, many more feel that way about Clinton. So what is left to do? Do we all reject each other as not only supporting an inferior candidate, but one that has eliminated any right or possibility of reconciliation? Or do we realize that we must at least try to bridge the gap? Obama supporters will continue to attack Clinton and her supporters so long as Clinton and her supporters attack Obama. And Clinton supporters will continue to do the same because she is being attacked. It is a vicious, self-sustaining cycle. There are some on both sides that will feel that a line has been crossed that can not be undone. They will believe that it would be worse to come together than to see the party, and its ideals, split. But I for one hope that for the vast majority that line has not been reached, and we can work to come together.
