176. So did the judge yesterday
I was seated to be on a jury yesterday. At the end of the day, when most of our pool of people had been eliminated for one reason or another a kind of interesting thing happened. The defense and prosecution both declared they were satisfied with the jurors seated. The judge was hip to what had happened, the prosecution had dismissed most of the Hispanic people. Only one was left after at the last elimination where the prosecution nixed three in a row. We all got dismissed on whole by the judge and the young hot-shot prosecutor and the rest of the ALL WHITE FOLKS that filled every position in that court that day were sent home so they try again the next day. The area we live is about 40% Latino

The whole thing seems insane now considering in this criminal trial the accused was also of Euro decent
