to let management know you're listening and you support liberal radio.

I'm the producer of a small, independent, and progressive radio talk show in the New York metropolitan region. Our show is up against two news stations, Imus, two other talk shows on AM and two more on FM, and we've been critiqued as "too serious" for the morning to boot. Our guests have been congressional representatives and even mayors, authors, representatives of Media Matters, even celebrities. We have a loyal audience. After almost 1-1/2 years of debuting, we're finally getting some callers which absolutely thrills me.

If you're interested, you can stream The Sam Greenfield show Monday-Friday, 7-9 a.m. via http://www.wvnj.com and click "listen live" in the left margin. On Wednesday, Rep. Frank Pallone (D-NJ) will discuss health care reform and Scott Horton (professor of law at Columbia and writer for Harpers will be our guests. On Monday, we're interviewing a veteran just returned from Iraq.

And DU-ers, we have a toll-free number that works all over the country if you want to call in.
