I'm the producer of a small, independent, and progressive radio talk show in the New York metropolitan region. Our show is up against two news stations, Imus, two other talk shows on AM and two more on FM, and we've been critiqued as "too serious" for the morning to boot. Our guests have been congressional representatives and even mayors, authors, representatives of Media Matters, even celebrities. We have a loyal audience.
