he can delay and take it up the courts, but he can't destroy or block them. They will come out. I don't care either way since I already know what we will see.

The President is in a tough postition here IMO, when all the military brass all the way down the chain is begging you not to release them, it has to be a tough call.

I do not think this is a chess/checkers moment, I think this is pure political pragmatism.
