:(. Here's to hoping they can clean it up right and that most is salvagable (especially the video tapes after they dry, hopefully at least some are still playable and can still be copied to DVD).

I'm happy your little girl took the demise of Baby Grampa so well, she's a real trooper :).

Any clue as to what the root cause of it was?

Such a mess (and at such a crappy time of year too). I don't know what help I can be, but I'm in Lowell if you need a hand with anything.
