that coleman was a democrat ambitiously waiting for a shot at gov. or the senate.
he looked around, saw that the GOP's list of hopefuls who might get a shot was shorter than on the DFL side.
Presto! Norm is a REpublican.

even though they throw money at his campaign, most republicans in our state are NOT fond of Norm.
they don't trust him (he flipped many tmes, who's to say he won't flop when it suits his ambition?)

I keep hoping for an amazing f-up like Rudy Boschwitz did in his campaigns against Paul Wellstone.
